Do you know that place

stop-pause-fast fwd

Do you know that place
Where your fears become
Your reality,
Where your badย dreams
Are playing before your eyes.

Where you wish
You were not born onto
This world,
Where you wish
It could all be stopped
With one swing of a magic stick.

Where your heart beats faster
And you cannot swallow
Feeling like its ripping
Your stomach apart.
Where you wish it would
Stop and you could
Pause for a second.

Where you wish
You trained your thoughts
To run faster than your heart beat.
Where you wish
You could stand up
Rewind
And all is good again.

Where you wish
You knew
You could
Fast forward instead.

  1. I do. I wish I could have known at the time that we all make it through. Somehow. Maybe not immediately. Maybe not without effort. Maybe not without help. The confusion and pain drown and paralyze. But then, without warning, somehow, we discover we are looking back and then we realize, we made it through…

    • Wow this is really well said Michael! You are a wise soul ๐Ÿ˜‰
I sometimes struggle with that place of being stuck, seeing a pattern so well and not being able to step off of it… But like you said, when we keep trying it eventually happens, without warning. Yes, I like that ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks xox

  2. Argh, I have often been to that Place.. I can only fast forward… I never rewind.. ๐Ÿ™‚ too much pain… Always better to Stop and Erase! and record over a new story ๐Ÿ™‚

    Loved this ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Neat! I just read about another technique for cleaning imprints, whereby you replay a memory you would like to change, feel the emotions that come up for you, then freeze the scene creating stationary shadows of those in the scene, push your hand through and modify it in the way you would have liked that it happened (creating your preferred memory) and blow air into that vision. Return to the original memory (place of wounding), blow it away from yourself and touch the stationary shadows – they will turn into ashes. Then replay the preferred memory, feel the emotions and take with you only what is necessary (probably nothing ๐Ÿ™‚ ) This is in a book by the very mysterious Lujan Matus.
I use another technique called mesa proxy with my clients but am always keen to learn and experiment with different techniques. I should have an opportunity to meet Lujan Matus in August and am looking forward ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for so many thoughtful comments and honest sharing! You are the best ๐Ÿ˜‰ xox
